Bishops United Against Gun Violence

Bishops United Against Gun Violence, formed after mass shootings in 2012 at a Sikh Temple in Oak Creek, Wisconsin and at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, Connecticut, is a group of nearly 70 Episcopal bishops working to curtail the epidemic of gun violence in the United States. Canticle Communications provides day-to-day operations, strategic support, and event management to the coalition.

Deputy News

In 2015, at the start of the 78th General Convention, Deputy News was launched to provide “news, features and commentary, in English and Spanish, in print, podcasts and videos” about the House of Deputies and the work of General Convention. Since then, Deputy News has also covered the 2016 meeting of the Anglican Consultative Council in Lusaka, Zambia, and published stories on the work of task forces appointed by General Convention.
